The 8th Annual Kids Outdoor Adventure Expo is the largest environmental, nature and water safety education event for children in the Midwest. With over 4,400 children in attendance in 2012, the expo offers a day of adventure and exploring the great outdoors in a fun and creative learning environment. Kids of all ages will be able to participate in some of the following activities: fly casting, catching a fish, paddling in a raft on Lake Como, petting farm animals, climb a climbing wall, listen to a story from days gone by, learn about water safety, nutrition, exercise with Zumbatomics for kids, fitness boxing, or yoga, learn about renewable energy, composting, camping, wildlife of the Ohio River Basin. With over 40 interactive exhibits and activities the kids are sure to have a fun, yet educational day they won’t soon forget. Kids Expo is free and open to families and organized groups.

Kids Outdoor Adventure Expo General Schedule
Thursday, June 20, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
MORNING SESSION – 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
9:00 am – Arrival of groups on buses & cars
9:00-9:25 am – Check in at registration and pick up schedules.
9:30 am – Morning Session begins
After your session groups have the opportunity to stay for lunch,
swim and go on rides.
AFTERNOON SESSION – 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
1:00 pm- Arrival of groups on buses & cars
1:00 pm- 1:25 pm – Check in and pick up schedules.
1:30 pm – Afternoon Session begins
After your session groups have the opportunity to stay for lunch,
swim and go on rides.
Boat rides on the Queen City Clipper on the Ohio River
Take a 45 minute ride on the Ohio River. All children must be accompanied by an adult or group chaperone.
All rides are $2 per person – call for tickets, limited availability.
