Thanks for your interest in volunteering for the 12th Annual Ohio River Paddlefest & Cincy Pedalfest. We are so glad you have come to our site to help out. We want to make this as easy and painless as possible for you, so please read on:

The last day to register to volunteer is Monday, June 10.

To volunteer follow these simple steps.

1. Click on the logo (This is the link associated with the Paddlefest event.)

2. Type in your email address twice. You will then go right to our sign ups.

3. A confirmation email will be sent to you to remind you of what you have signed up for.

4. You will need to check in at registration at the event to sign your Volunteer waiver.

***Volunteer Trainings are Thursday, June 6 & Thursday, June 13 at Coney Island in the Lost River Shelter from 6-8 pm. This includes picking up your t-shirt, learning your position and touring Coney Island.

VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTIONS
Ohio River Music Festival, Roots on the River & Finish Line Festival on Friday & Saturday, June 21-22

Goody/Cinch sack bag stuffers/ T-shirt folding (Individual or Group)- Saturday, June 8^th – Times vary
Begins at 10 am and ends at 8 am – Sign up for 3 or 4 hour shifts. 10-1 pm; 1-4 pm & 4-8 pm Stuff bags and fold shirts. Three times to choose from.

Beer (Individual) – Saturday, June 22 – 10-2:30 pm Pour beer at Finish Line Festival

Boat Drop Off at Coney Island (Individual or Group) Time vary by day Friday – 10-1 pm; 1-4 pm & 4-9 pm. Saturday – 6:30 am – 9:00 am (Assist with taking boats off cars and locating boats in rows for paddlers.)

Boat Unloading at Coney Island (Individual or Group) - Assist trucking company with unloading rental boats on Thursday, June 21. Involves heavy lifting.

Coney Island Tear Down & Clean Up (Individual or Group)- Friday night 8- 10 pm (usually done in one hour) - Take down tables and chairs and stack for rental company pick up. Load truck as needed and take down all signage.

Parking at Coney Island (Individual or Group)- Friday, June 21 – 4- 8 pm
Assist Coney Island with Friday night and Saturday morning parking.

Public Landing Set Up (Individual or Group) –Saturday, June 22 8:00 am – 10:00 am
Assist with setting up of Public Landing area. Need help putting out cones, signage, bike rack set up etc.

Basket Raffle (Individual or Group) Friday, June 21 Assist with raffle pick-ups at booth. 6- 9 pm.

Raffle Ticket Sales (Individual or Group) Sell raffle tickets to public. Must be outgoing, friendly and able to sell. Friday, June 21 4- 9 pm.

Registration (Individual) Friday – 8 am – Noon; Noon to 4 pm; 4- 9 pm; Saturday morning – 6:00 am- 9:30 am Check in and register paddlers. Must be good with public and creative problem solving.

Basket Raffle (Individual or Group)- Friday – 11 am to 2 pm; 2 pm to 5 pm; 5 pm to close (around 9:30 pm) Work event on Friday night selling tickets and helping public.

Souvenir Booth Sales at Coney Island & Finish Line Festival (Individual)- – 8 am – Noon; Noon to 4 pm; 4- 9 pm Sell souvenir items at booth. Must be good with public.

Watercraft Put In Launch at Coney Island (Individual or Group) 7:30 am – 9 am Assist paddlers with putting in boats at Coney Island. May involve getting wet and some boat lifting.

Water Marshalls on the Ohio River during Paddle the Ohio (Individual or Group) Work as safety patrol on the Ohio River during Paddlefest. Must work entire event on Saturday, wear PFD and be able to swim. (Separate registration for this job – please send email to info@ohioriverpaddlefest.org)

Cincy Pedalfest Volunteers – Saturday, June 22 at Yeatman’s Cove

Set Up – 5 am – 6 am – set up registration & signage

Registration – 6:30 am – 9 am. – Help with Day of Event registration on Friday & Saturday. Work check in and pre- registration; good with public, need to be able to answer questions and process paperwork.

Bike Valet – 6:30 am – 9:30 am; 9:30 am-12:30 pm & 12:30 pm – 2:45 pm – Take in bikes and getting bikes out; checking tags to make sure bikes go to right person.
