Event Schedule

Pedal/Paddle – Ride leaves Yeatman’s Cove between 7:00 am  - 7:15 am. Pedal 8.9 miles to Coney Island then paddle 8.2 miles to Coney Island. (If you are renting a boat you will pick up your boat at Coney Island in one of the rental tents.)  Please bring a lock to lock your bike in one of the bike racks located next to Registration in Lost River Shelter 3 and the grass area next to this area. 

Please check your wristband for the company you will be renting from. Look for the booths with the colored flags near the put in area. They will be one of the following: 

  • Loveland Canoe & Kayak
  • Morgan’s Canoe
  • Wheel Fun Rentals
  • Bros Boards
  • Thaxton’s Southfork Canoes

**After finishing the float trip, please park your boat on the Public Landing or return to rental area. You will see a sign in front of the Showboat Majestic for all boat rental returns. 

Pedal Only – Ride leaves Yeatman’s Cove at 8:00 am. Pedal 19.5 miles along the river on the scenic Ohio River Trail route out to Lunken Airport and to Armleder Park where you will turn around and ride back the same route to Yeatman’s Cove. 

IMPORTANT INFO:

  • Course Monitors and signage will be located all along the route. There will also be two First Aid stations with ice and water if you need to stop.  Port-o-lets are also located throughout the ride.
  • Shuttle buses will be available on Mehring Way to take bike riders and paddlers back to Coney Island to pick up their vehicles. Buses run from 10:30 am to 2:45 pm.
  • Bike Valet is open from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm and is located near REGISTRATION AREA IN GRASS.

Day of Event Registration – June 22

**There is no Pedal/Paddle day of event registration.

Directions to Yeatman’s Cove/Sawyer Point Parking Lot

From I-71 South:  Exit at Third Street.  Go straight three blocks past Broadway.  Turn left at Walnut.  Left on Second Street.  Follow signs to Pete Rose Way, stay right, go down the ramp.  Left on Pete Rose Way at US Bank Arena.

From I-471:  Take Fort Washington Way (US Rt. 50) westbound, and exit at Third Street.  Turn left at Broadway.  Left at Pete Rose Way.

From I-71/75 North (Kentucky) or I-75 South:  Exit at Second Street.  Follow signs to Pete Rose Way.  Turn left on Pete Rose Way at US Bank Arena.  Follow signs to Sawyer Point Parking lot or park. Follow signs to registration area at Yeatman’s Cove.
