Terms & Conditions

CANCELLATION POLICY

Entry fees are non-refundable. This means once we have received your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, or if the event is cancelled because of weather, natural disaster or other unforeseen circumstances. Please click here for a list of our registration policies.

Transfer Policy

If you are unable to participate in Paddlefest, you may transfer your registration to another participant that year. The deadline for transfers is Friday, July 28. Registrations are not transferable to a future Paddlefest.

PARTICIPATION

Participating in a paddling event is potentially hazardous activity. The paddler understands the risks associated with this event, including, but not limited to, weather, course conditions and surfaces, and falls.

MEDICAL SUPPORT

Medical support for this event will be provided by volunteer personnel who may be called upon to provide assistance, including first aid, during or after the event. Medical volunteers will assist participants as necessary or appropriate. By entering a Paddlefest event and participating, the entrant agrees to treatment by medical personnel, and also agrees to accept medical decisions about the entrant’s fitness to participate or continue in the paddle.

COURSE

The river course will be closed to motorized traffic until 12:30 pm. Volunteer sweepers will work to keep paddlers on time, but it is the responsibility of the participant to progress through the course in a timely manner. Anyone who cannot complete their paddle by 12:30 pm must move to the side of the river as the course opens to allow regular traffic through. Paddler services cannot be guaranteed for participants beyond the 12:30 pm river closure deadline.
